As sales coordinator I am responsible for a variety of tasks that helps the sales team achieve the goals and provide excellent customer service. I’m responsible of making and coordinating appointments with potential customers, sales meetings, preparing sales proposals and contracts, updating the CRM system with relevant information. I communicate with the clients and our internal teams to ensure that everything is running smoothly. I’m responsible for the recruitement of our company, including finding the canditates with right skills, conducting job interviews, providing correct information to applicants and writing contracts. My previous experience as a supervisor has given me the skills to recognize the potential of applicants. I also handle the residence permit matters of our foreign employees and other related reporting obligations.

At March 2018 I started working as a cleaning supervisor. I am responsible for 30 employees and I have over 80 customer locations at my management area. At this position I have learned flexibility and quick response since the situations at cleaning business are usually changing quickly.

I started my path at Gronlund Palvelut Oy as a summer worker. After summer I continued to work as cleaning director (ryhmänvanhin) while I was writing my thesis for Tampere University of Applied Sciences. I was my supervisors right hand and my responsibilities included for example scheduling the work, guiding employees and customer service.

Krabi, Thailand

I did my second internship related to my Tourism studies at Raya Divers. Raya Divers is a PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Center located in five destinations in Southern Thailand: Phuket, Raya Yai Island, Khao Lak, Krabi and Koh Lanta. I worked as a snorkeling guide and at the company’s office in Krabi. As a snorkeling guide I was responsible for customer service at diving/snorkeling tours. At the office I did arrangements for upcoming trips, for example I ordered the speedboats, busses and the meals for the trips. We also sold the trips and scuba diving gears at the office therefore the sales skills were very useful.I also represented Raya Divers at travel agencies welcome meetings in hotels. In the welcome meetings I told the potential customers about the company and the trips we organize.

I did my first internship related to my Tourism studies at Dream Hostel Tampere. Dream Hostel is a award-winning hostel situated in Tampere. My responsibilities included working in the front desk, customer service, managing reservations and cleaning the rooms and common areas. I also updated hostels tourism information folders and took care of breakfast arrangements. Most of the customers were international therefore the main language used at service was English.
