In January 2023, I was promoted to Head Teaching Assistant. My duties expanded to assist the instructor with administrative tasks, such as managing the main course page and resources, leading weekly teaching staff meetings, and communicating individual student concerns to the instructor.

CSC 113 is an introductory programming course in MATLAB for engineering students studying mechanical or aerospace engineering. As a teaching assistant, I assist the professor during lectures and hold office hours to assist students one-on-one. I co-teach a lab section with another teaching assistant to help students practice writing code and solve programming problems. I also grade coding assignments, projects, and tests. As a member of the Project Autograder team, I write test scripts in MATLAB to assist with project grading.

My role as the IT intern at Corvid Technologies involved a system administration project where I wrote Powershell scripts to automate third-party application updates and installations for endpoints on an air gapped network. This project involved multiple Powershell scripts to download the correct installation packages to a hosted file share to allow the endpoints to retrieve the installation packages and to silently install updates every other week.Toward the end of the summer, I also assisted the Helpdesk Manager with Helpdesk tickets submitted by Corvid employees regarding general technical issues. I imaged new laptops or loaner laptops for employee use, performed minor laptop repairs, and I assembled desk setups for new employees. I also administered YubiKeys that were used for two-factor authorization.

In April 2020, I cross-trained in the online shopping department, where I fulfilled online grocery orders, contacted customers regarding their order status and special requests, and securely handled sensitive payment and prescription information.

In June 2019, I was promoted to customer service clerk, where my duties expanded to assisting customers with returns, refunds, money orders, and wire transfer transactions through Western Union, managing cashiers and employee breaks, and performing accounting audits on cash drawers.

In June 2018, I joined Harris Teeter as a cashier, where I provided world-class customer service to customers by assisting customers in a checkout lane or at self-checkout, retrieving shopping carts, and performing cleaning duties.

My role was to create and modify quality assurance documents for Gas Turbine components and facilitate document conversions from Microsoft InfoPath templates to Siemens' integrated quality control document templates. Worked with quality and manufacturing engineers to create new quality documents and convert existing documents to the new format. Our team met with the software team representative weekly to give feedback and suggestions for the new Siemens quality document system.
