Inderjit Ghai a Civil Engineer of Punjab University Chandigarh did B.E. Civil from Guru Nanak Engineering College Ludhiana in 1985. After serving in private sector for 15 years in India and abroad he started Consulting Engineers Associates a consultancy firm in year 2001 to provide Engineering consultancy services in the field of Highways, bridges and Infrastructure. On joining his only son Gaurav with him after completing his Post graduation in bridge Engineering from U.K. , the company has been upgraded to a private limited company “General Highways And Infracon Pvt. Limited (GHAI.PL) in May 2018.During 16 years period as employee in private sector he has worked on Hydroelectric projects, Industrial , housing, commercial , bridges and gas power projects in India and Abroad. From 2001 till date he has being providing consultancy services for design and DPR of Highways, Bridges, water supply projects, infrastructure projects and supervision/ quality control of many projects. He has provided his services at Kargil also post Kargil War .In addition to the consultancy work he is active in imparting knowledge and providing practical training to civil engineering professionals. He has his own test house and training centre at Panchkula. About 1000 Engineers and civil engineering professionals have attended his training programmes.
