My research explored star formation processes, focusing on how stars gain their final masses. I analyzed large-scale survey data from the Submillimeter Array (SMA) to study the evolution of outflows, fragmentation, and protostellar disk formation.• Led the MASSES project and surveyed all known protostars in Perseus.• Collected, cleansed, and managed large-scale survey data from the Submillimeter Array• Extracted, interpreted, and analyzed complex continuum and line data to study fragmentation and outflow dynamics in protostellar systems.• Investigated misalignment of outflow axes in proto-multiple systems and compared findings with turbulent fragmentation models• Developed column density and temperature maps using Herschel data for regions in Perseus and Serpens• Published two first-author papers and two co-authored papers in leading journals• Awarded A-ranked ALMA proposal (10% success rate) on angular momentum evolution in proto-binary systems• Mentored graduate and high school students

My research focused on studying star formation with the CARMA Large-Area Star-formation Survey (CLASSy). Specific goals of the project involve characterizing internal structures and kinematics of star-forming cores, investigating the relation between dense cores and their natal clouds, and testing theoretical star formation scenarios. The target regions include Serpens Main, Serpens South, NGC1333, B1, and L1451. + Performed data analysis on the large data sets from the CLASSy project.+ Led scientific discussions and paper-writing of the Serpens Main region in a large team (20+).+ Participated in developing the dendrogram algorithm for statistical analysis on the gas structures.+ Classified Young Stellar Objects (YSOs) using machine learning algorithms including logistic regression and K-nearest neighbors. + In charge of the radio pointing task in operating the CARMA array.
