Always on the look out to experience new things and learn new skills, Iffat loves to put her brain to work and solve problems. As a UX designer, project manager, and service design researcher at Pivot she has worked with clients both small and large and enjoys sharing the experience of the creative process with them.In the field of User Experience Design, Iffat is most fascinated by the ever-evolving world of healthcare and believes that the field can grow by leaps and bounds with the help of good design thinking for system-level change. She revels in the process of learning from and about people to design better products and services.In her spare time, Iffat is supports growing communities. In her initial years as a designer she helped to organize events with the Provisional RGD committee; later and together with Pivot’s Creative Director, she worked to establish DesignMeets.ca as a way to bring the design industry together with all other industries. In 2019, she initiated a concept space called The Working Village, a space providing Co-working + Childcare + Wellness for its members. Nowadays, her biggest community endeavours have been locally with Clarkson Co-operative Nursery School, a not-for-profit co-operative where, as Director on the board, she helps the leadership team manage the play-based Preschool and Kindergarten.Iffat is a self-starter and is always wanting to help bring the best out in others.
