Faire un cadeau à quelqu'un, c'est entretenir voire renforcer le lien social qui vous unit à cette personne. Le cadeau fonctionne comme un marqueur du lien social. Or une des composantes du bien-être psychologique est le sentiment de connexion aux autres. Quand on fait des cadeaux, comme lorsque l'on en reçoit, ce sentiment de connexion augmente. Nous aimons donc offrir des cadeaux aux personnes qui nous sont chères, à différentes occasions, entre autres: -Anniversaire d'un ami ou d'un proche -Mariage, anniversaire de mariage, naissance d'un enfant -Fêtes (Noël, fête des mères, fête de pères, journée de la femme, ...) Même si la volonté est là, très souvent faute de temps, nous avons du mal à trouver le cadeau idéal mais surtout à le faire parvenir au destinataire si celui-ci ne se trouve pas dans notre entourage proche. Et c'est là la raison d'être de SamaKDO: nous aider à trouver le cadeau idéal et l'apporter à la bonne personne (en créant l’effet de surprise).
