As a general secretary of MPSTME, NMIMS university, the responsibility revolved around representation of college at various levels and the overall management of student activities.Few of my responsibilities include -Planning, organizing and execution of technical and cultural activities taking place within the college.-Management of financial activities and preparing reports pertaining to college and various events related to it.-The overall development and social well being of students.

• Design, implement, and facilitate annual marketing plan for the firm. • Support and facilitate development and implementation of section business/marketing plans.• Translating business unit objectives and strategies to develop brand portfolio objectives, strategies and plans to facilitate business unit growth.• Develops marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment policy, nature of market, copyright and royalty requirements, and cost and markup factors. • Plan and administer the firm’s Marketing Operations budget

Overseeing all aspects of the event organisation - Managing the budget- Recruiting people to key voluntary organisation roles and mentoring- Coordinating meetings, volunteers and human resources- Communication with the organisation group through phones, emails and mailing list- Liaison with council grants officer and acquittal of grant monies- Accessing other income sources: grants, markets, sponsorship- Marketing and Media planning

• Planning and Organization: Comprises the ability to guide in the selection of committee members and coordinators and volunteer needs, helps establish the program and activities, assists in the development of the site and venue selection, develops an assessment of resources and where they may be obtained, contributes to the development of the sponsorship and media packages and incorporates this information into a schedule.• Chairing Meetings: To schedule, chair and document all meetings. This includes finding meeting space that is agreeable for the committee members, communicating date and time, setting the agenda, keeping the meeting on task and ensuring meeting minutes are taken and sent out to all committee members in a timely fashion.• Resource Allocation: Helps the committee coordinators assign funds, human resources, equipment and materials throughout the different areas. Monitors budget expenditures and revenue flow.• Assistance to all Areas: While some areas may need more help than others, it was important for me to understands the process that every area is going through, at what point in that process they are at and when and what, if any, needs must be met. This can be attained by having all of the committee coordinators present an update at each committee meeting. This will also help other committee members understand how everything ties together and perhaps highlight any areas that they might have overlooked.• Evaluation process: provides tools to help assess success from an organizational standpoint, to the management and stability of the festival.

The COMPUTER SOCIETY OF INDIA is the largest body of computer proffesionals in india. As the vice president MPSTME student branch of CSI, I have planned various CSI council activities and was responsible for the publicity and marketing of various events related to it.
