I am film industry and advertising industry professional with 25+ years of immersive experience. With a foundation of 10 years on the sets of big budget features, TV shows, music videos and especially commercials as a technician I have a particularly deep understanding of the production process. In 10+ years as a producer and EP I have produced award winning projects for many of the top agencies and clients in the world. AfterAll consistently produces award winning work for Nike, Microsoft, Levis, P&G, Pepsico, AB InBev and many more. I produced the HBO miniseries "Witness" - the pilot was shortlisted for an Academy Award.I grew up in rural Connecticut in a remarkable family that was consciously poor. I have 3 younger brothers who are my 3 best friends. My father is an author, artist and craftsman and my mother was an elementary school reading teacher. As a kid I worked on farms feeding cows, harvesting Christmas trees, tapping maple trees and digging ditches. I also worked on a lobster boat as a sternman. Work, often in the form of labor has shaped who I am to a large degree. I love it. I was very lucky to attend high school at Pomfret School. It was a suitable academic situation with small classes and very busily scheduled days. I played a sport each season. I excelled at rowing in high school and went on to row for the University of Wisconsin's crew. I had some real success considering the fact that I'm quite small for a top tier rower, including winning the team points trophy at the national championships. Within a couple years the larger guys who started out as novices caught up to me and overtook me.I live in Portland OR with my wife Joanna, who is my favorite partner and colleague to tackle all sorts of challenges with. We are currently tackling the challenge of raising our 4 children.
