I'm currently working at Abstrakt Marketing Group as a Senior Web Designer. I started working at Abstrakt in 2021 and have designed over 65 unique websites at the company. I create wireframes and mockups of website designs and design each page to optimize SEO, page load speed, and user experience. I've also worked less extensively on over 100 other websites for B2B companies, including things like website maintenance, uploading content, designing social posts and covers, building out portfolios, among other things. At this job, I've gained invaluable management experience, working with other web designers and making sure their work is high quality and their scheduled are adequately filled.I worked at Siding Express for a year as a full time Web and Graphic Designer. At that job, I rebuilt the company's website from the ground up as well as created several promotional print and video content. I also maintained the website with SEO, Google Analytics, photographs and videos of completed projects, and newly designed pages for the site.I worked in the IMWD firm at Lindenwood University as a designer for three months, and was then promoted to Project Lead. The IMWD Firm gives students a chance to work with real life clients and get experience with them. I also volunteered at Church on the Rock for three years as a Youth Leader and a Camp Leader. I helped students from middle school to high school age learn to work as a team and make lifelong friends in a safe environment.
