In an IT team that started from 2 people doing every aspect of the IT day to day work we grew to a team where I, as a systems administrator was the last point of escalation on all technical issues. In charge of the Setting up, expanding and maintaining the virtual infrastructure and upgrading it while we migrated over 80% of our servers on to VMware. Also the lead on all network and server security related aspects, researching, purchasing and implementing new technologies to meet the ever growing needs of the investment banking industry.

Setup and installed Mainly Microsoft Servers including Exchange, AD, File servers, Web servers, SQL and more. Also implemented network designs with VLANs, site to site routing and such to meet the need of an array of different clients in industries ranging from Hi-tech, Education, Banking to Law offices accountant and more.

Performed and oversaw the setup projects of new offices including network setup and maintenance, hardware procurement and managing the outsourcing firms that provided onsite support. Served as a system administrator for Active Directory, Exchange, Check point firewalls, Linux mail relay servers and cisco switches and routers. Provided hardware/software support for servers and desktops.

Customer support representative. Supporting Internet connectivity, guided installations and troubleshooting over the phone.
