As a senior medical officer with over five years of experience in primary healthcare and family medicine, I am deeply passionate about providing quality healthcare services to my patients. My educational background includes an MBBS degree from the University of Nigeria Nsukka, as well as a West Africa Postgraduate College of Surgeons' primaries in surgery.Currently, I am employed as a Resident Medical Officer/General Practitioner at Stayalive Hospital And Maternity in Lagos, where I have been working since April 2020. In this role, I am responsible for running a daily outpatient clinic and seeing a minimum of 15 patients per day. I make diagnoses based on my clinical knowledge, as well as laboratory and radiological investigations, and provide adequate treatment to my patients. I am committed to following up with my patients to ensure they receive the best possible care.One of my key responsibilities is to assess patients and refer them for further treatment when indicated. Additionally, I administer immunization services for children following the country’s immunization schedule, and I am proud to be contributing to the health and well-being of the children in our community. As part of my role, I provide leadership to a team of 12 nurses, eight laboratory scientists, two radiographers, and two nutritionists.As a trained surgeon, I also perform surgical services such as Appendicectomy, Herniorraphy, excision biopsies, caesarean sections, circumcision, incision and drainage, among others. I am confident in my surgical skills and always prioritize the safety and well-being of my patients.In addition to my clinical duties, I conduct antenatal clinics for pregnant women and refer them to specialists as necessary. I understand the importance of providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers and am committed to ensuring that they receive the best possible care throughout their pregnancy.Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of the healthcare sector, particularly in the field of primary healthcare and family medicine.
