Black Googler Network (BGN) is an employee resource group open to all Googlers interested in fostering success in the Black community at Google and beyond. Our mission is divided into three main pillars: (1) Cultivate Black leaders (2) Empower communities, and (3) Transform Technology.

Negus in Nature (NIN) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit championing a vital mission: empowering BIPOC communities to reclaim their connection with nature and become leaders in environmental justice. We recognize that systemic barriers, rooted in historical trauma and racial inequities, have excluded BIPOC individuals from experiencing the benefits of the outdoors.NIN breaks down these barriers by creating safe and inclusive nature experiences. From diverse outings to local meetups, we cater to all experience levels. But access is just the start. NIN's work centers on empowering BIPOC communities to advocate for themselves. We believe those most affected by environmental injustices must be at the forefront of shaping solutions. Through grassroots advocacy, civic engagement, and experiential learning, we provide communities with the tools to drive policy change for a more equitable environmental future.NIN's approach is collaborative and community-driven. We partner with BIPOC communities, identifying their specific needs and tailoring solutions accordingly. By emphasizing representation and fostering civic engagement, we amplify the voices of marginalized groups in decision-making processes. As an active member of the Gamma Chi Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. seated in San Francisco, CA

The Global Trilateral MBA Program is purposed to create international consultants. The program is composed of a partnership between Howard University in Washington, DC, Gordon Institute of Business Science - University of Pretoria in South Africa and Central University of Finance and Economics in Beijing, China. Roughly ten students from the respective schools are placed in five separate consulting groups each segment of the program and are presented with the needs of a company. The groups act as student consultants to first understand the company's needs and then produce real-time solutions. The students then travel to the home country of the company to present their findings.The first segment was based in South Africa and students were given a project for a small business in Pretoria and presentations were given in March 2016 at the Gordon Institute of Business Science.The second segment was based in Beijing and students were given a project for a larger scale Chinese company and presentations were given in May 2016 at Central University for Finance and Economics in Beijing, China.The third segment was based in Washington, DC and the final project was on an an international company based in the United States. Presentations were given at Howard University in November 2016.

• Consulted for a Fortune 100 company by completing various data analytics to come up with effective solutions to solve immediate needs.• Developed a long term plan to continue improvements on the short term results. • Led effort to create and prepare a presentation for top management and present the findings of the research and analysis.

Representing the student body at large - all 10,000+ undergraduate and graduate students, the Howard University Student Association serves as the eyes, ears and voice for the Student Body, aim to create awareness and a more proactive approach to leadership. Our purpose is to provide input into the University's decision-making process and act as spokesperson for the students. Some responsibilities include:•Collaborate with university administration, faculty, students, and external organizations to develop and execute initiatives that enhance the overall student experience and increase opportunities available to students.•Represent the interest of over 10,000 graduate and undergraduates through elected office.•Manage a staff of over 80 people and a budget of more than $90,000.

Duties of the Treasurer included:• Managed an operational budget of over $10,000• Kept an accurate account of the Chapter's funds.• Maintained a membership roll and collected all dues of the Chapter members.• Submitted a report to the Chapter members at least once a month concerning the financial status of the Chapter, in writing.• Submitted an annual report to the Executive Board of the National Society before start of each fiscal year, giving a complete accounting of the Chapter's finances and reporting on other matters the Executive Board may require.• Responsible for obtaining and/or maintaining a bank account in the name of this Chapter.

As a member of the HUSA Senate I represented the College of Engineering Architecture & Computer Science as an elected official alongside other student officials representing the other various colleges and schools of Howard University. I dealt with the issues and concerns of the students as a whole and implemented referendum that addressed those problems.

• Met with the United States’ Shanghai General Consulate Political & Economic Division to discuss the various political and economic issues of the Jiangsu Province• Engaged in several critical analyses of China’s various humanitarian issues, economic disparities, and cultural difference in comparison to other global countries• Cultural exchange with local student of EF English First concerning differences in life and conditions between Shanghai and America• Studied the development of Kyoto becoming a fully functional smart city and several of Japan’s future clean energy and smart energy initiatives• Integrated into Japanese society through exploration of local cities while improving Japanese skills through civilian interactions• Contributed in concentrated workshops on the development of Japan over the centuries

High school internship program led by Texas Southern University and sponsored by NASA, where extensive research and various projects were conducted.• Extensive Research and Project design on fuel cells where a hydrogen fuel cell was designed and built. (2008)• Extensive Research and Project design on solar energy where a small-scale solar house encompassing different alternative technologies was built and tested for efficiency. (2009) • Extensive Research and Project design on ligands and chemical bonding where different methods of discovering ways to safely bond chemicals to safe sites were tested. (2010 - 2011)
