Job function includes working as part of an IT User Support team to provide IT service for users within a coverage area containing 30 locations and about 1000 staff. Job functions included Preventive and Corrective Hardware maintenance of user workstations. Set up of user workstations by connection of workstations and connection of peripherals such as printers, scanners, POS terminals etc, installing required applications, and providing initial configurations. Troubleshooting and resolution of issues such as but not limited to operating system crashes and reinstallation, device driver installations, local user mailbox issues, windows password resets and application failure on workstation, POS terminals and ATM issues, virus issues, connectivity issues both wired and wireless. First Response and contact point for IT Department.
