Focused on programming and integrating robotic cell-sampling systems with analytical devices to automate upstream and downstream processes. My day to day involves developing software in a linux environment as well as prototyping and optimizing hardware alongside design engineers. I also travel to various customer sites to perform installations and repairs. In my previous position, I was involved in designing, prototyping, and validating electroporation and electrophoresis devices using 3D printing and PDMS molding amongst other methods. Additionally, I ran electroporation experiments with mammalian cells and quantified the results with cell imaging. I am fascinated by the fabrication process of robotic systems from start to finish and I enjoy both the programming and the designing aspect of it. My approach is to consistently learn new skills depending on the problems that I am trying to solve rather that limiting myself to what I already know. What I bring to the table is not the ability to program in a specific language or design using a specific modeling software, but rather an enthusiasm in solving real world problems.
