I'm currently working as a Multimedia News & Sports Reporter for Greatest Hits Radio in Gloucestershire and Free Radio in Herefordshire and Worcestershire, who are both part of the Bauer Media Group.Since joining the South West team as a new reporter for the station in October 2020, I've spent my time immersing myself into the area, sourcing local news which matters to local people.In January 2021, I was then hired as the reporter for Herefordshire and Worcestershire for Free Radio. My core duties are to source overnights for both stations to run in the breakfast bulletins, reporting on a variety of topics and issues, from crime, sport, community and charity work, the environment, and using local voices to connect people with national news.I have a deep interest in investigative journalism, spending time researching, gathering information and speaking to people about how societal issues affect them. My writing experience so far covers writing for multi-platforms such as print, radio and online. I also have a diploma in Freelance Journalism and have the skills to research and write features for trade magazines.I'm also keen editor in both audio and video and enjoy communicating news in informative, creative and exciting ways for my audience.
