I received my PhD (with honors) in mechanical engineering from the University of New Mexico with an emphasis in network science, controls engineering and optimization in 2020. My main interests include the control of complex networks, optimal control, combinatorial problems on graphs, and numerical methods for the optimal control of nonlinear systems.Much of my published work so far has investigated the control energy requirements of dynamical systems whose topology can be described by graphs, both numerically and analytically. I have published papers in journals such as Nature Communications, Physical Review Letters and Automatica.Academically, my GPA is 4.15 having received an A+ in classes such as Optimization Theory, Nonlinear Control, Multivariable Control, Nonlinear Complex Systems, Digital Controls, Computational Mechanics, Numerical Linear Algebra, Methods in Applied Math, and others.I am proficient in the Matlab/Octave, C/C++, Fortran and bash programming/scripting languages with considerable experience in Python/Sage. I have written software that interfaces with many open source tools such as 1) coin-or's optimization suite including Ipopt, CLP, and CBC 2) sundials software suite including cvode and arkode 3) the optimal control package PSOPTand others including cmess, slicot, glpk, igraph, etc.
