At Tahaluf, I hold the role of Database Administrator Team Lead, overseeing a team member while actively participating in projects focused on High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and Backup Strategy for Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL. Our clientele includes notable organizations such as Saudi Arabic CST, Abu Dhabi Darb, FCA, ADAFA, among others.In Oracle projects, we are responsible for setting up and maintaining Oracle RAC 19c, Oracle Physical Data Guard 19c, and implementing RMAN backup solutions. For Microsoft SQL Server, we create and manage Always On Availability Groups for versions 2019 and 2022, along with developing maintenance plans for backup strategies. Additionally, we have experience in PostgreSQL, where we established a 2-node cluster to support critical applications across servers.

I've had the privilege of working on diverse projects that have significantly enhanced my skills in both Database Management and System Administration. These projects primarily involved ORACLE/Redhat Linux and AIX Unix systems, with a focus on Oracle and PostgreSQL databases. Notably, I played a key role as a full-time DBA in the Oman YAQEEN project, where I tackled complex configurations on Oracle Grid Infrastructure 19c and Database 19c. This included implementing RAC to RAC Data Guard setups, enhancing security through technologies like TDE and Vault, and managing backups using RMAN with platforms such as TSM and EMC Networker agents.My responsibilities also encompassed system migrations, production database cloning, and ensuring high availability through advanced configurations. Working on AIX 7.2 operating systems during these projects further expanded my operational expertise. To streamline monitoring and reporting, I automated scripts using bash and Python, scheduled them with crontabs, and utilized MTA tools like postfix for daily reporting.

In Al-Rowad, my primary position involves being a Database Administrator, responsible for the installation, configuration, management, and maintenance of Oracle Database, Oracle Grid Infrastructure, Oracle ASM, and RMAN backup systems.

This experience played a crucial role in shaping my career, as I participated in numerous healthcare sector projects across the UAE, gaining valuable industry-specific expertise along the way.

I embarked on my career journey as an Oracle Database Administrator, engaging in numerous projects where my primary responsibilities revolved around optimizing performance, managing backups using tools like Data Pump and RMAN, performing installations and configurations of Oracle software, creating databases, and implementing security policies mandated by security auditors. This initial phase of my career allowed me to develop a solid foundation in database administration and security practices.
