Ikram Mercha} received the B.Sc. degree in Bio analysis and quality control (2014) from Hassan II University (Casablanca, Morocco) and the M.Sc in Applied microbiology and Bioengineering (2016) from the Faculty of sciences and techniques of Mohammedia (Casablanca, Morocco). In 2020, she received the Ph.D degree in Microbiology and Bioengineering from Hassan II University ( Casablanca, Morocco). She is a PhD researcher jointly at the Laboratory of Virology, Microbiology, Quality and Biotechnology/ETB at the Faculty of Science and Techniques of Mohammedia, University Hassan II Casablanca, and at the national institute of agronomic research (Rabat, Morocco). and is an active member at the Moroccan Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.Dr. Mercha is a reviewer for prestigious international journals (Springer, Elsevier, Wiley ,Taylor and Francis etc.) and international conferences. She is being (has been) involved in several national and international/European projects. Dr. Mercha has co-authored over 8 journal articles and over 20 conference publications.Dr. Mercha is the recipient of the best oral communication award at the Fourth International American Moroccan Agricultural Sciences Conference – AMAS Conference IV (2018) as well as at the First edition of the international conference of green biotechnology, Taroudant, Morocco (2018). She also was a recipient of the Excellence scholarship from the National Centre for Scientific and Technical Research, Morocco.
