Research and Analysis:• Monitor and analyze economic, political, and trade developments in Bangladesh.• Research and analyze the geopolitical situation in Bangladesh and the region.• Produce reports, briefs, and research papers on these topics.2. Liaison and Communication:• Maintain relationships with government officials, think tanks, NGOs, and media.• repare weekly news reports, e-newsletters, and publicity materials.• Translate news, documents, and interpret English ⇄ Bengali.3. Trade Promotion:• Gather statistics from government and private sectors impacting Malaysian trade with Bangladesh.• Identify potential areas for Malaysian exporters.• Respond to trade inquiries from Malaysia and Bangladesh.• Organize meetings and discussions for stakeholders.4. Project Management and Support:• Plan and coordinate public events, courtesy calls, and press conferences.• Execute assignments and projects given by the Ambassador/Deputy Ambassador.• Provide advice and recommendations on economic and political matters.5. Business Development:• Develop and maintain relationships with potential business partners.• Identify and expedite business opportunities.• Facilitate credential support for investors, students, and professionals.6. G2G Program:• Contribute to implementing and communicating the G2G program.• Coordinate training courses for Bangladeshi officials through the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme.

Additional Responsibilities: (Press & Politics, PR, External Affairs)• Disseminate, discuss and analyse economic and political events, including the preparation, editing and co-ordination of documentation for such meetings, as well as preparation of minutes• Manage social media of the High Commission, upload events document and photos.• Producing correspondences, briefs, short-term research papers and longer-term in-depth research studies on the economic and geo-politics in the region.• Monitor and analyse domestic political situation and development, scrutinize information on recent political, economic, cultural and bilateral topics.• Participating in seminars, studies and discussions on relevant issues organised by various institutions in both government and non-government sectors.•Translate information and insights into advice, plans, and reports.
