She has been recognized by the cities and school districts of San Francisco and Oakland California for her service to youth, families and the community. Ilalo has a Master’s degree from University of San Francisco in International and Multicultural Education her BA from University California Santa Barbara is in Black Studies and Sociology. She has developed a pedagogical framework and curriculum that has proven time and time again to empower participants to become powerful leaders and advocates for a more inclusive and equitable society.
