• Completed an outcome evaluation assessing the effectiveness of onboarding resources and programming for the Foundation’s signature Clark Scholars Program. Presented a report of my findings to the Foundation’s President and CEO, and the Director of Engineering Initiatives.• Designed the structure and implementation protocol for a national organization bringing together Clark Scholars and Alumni from 11 partner universities using a meta-ethnographic approach. Conducted best practices and primary research including interviews and surveys of program directors, faculty, and scholarship recipients. Submitted my recommendations to program administrators and the Foundation’s senior staff.

Olympia, Washington, United States

• Recruited to lead and coordinate Olympia’s efforts in Thurston County’s 2020 Point-in-Time Homeless Census alongside a long-term fellowship. Steered key projects in collaboration with City Hall personnel.• Developed “Poverty-Prosperity Index,” a benchmark dataset analyzing Olympia citizens’ well-being in the current economic climate. Conducted primary and secondary research and synthesized statistics on household income, unemployment, homelessness, K-12 reduced lunch programs, and other poverty indicators to aid in the development of anti-poverty initiatives. • Produced a comprehensive update of Olympia’s downtown housing inventory for City Council including trends in available low-income units, new listings of projects in construction or in pre-development, photos, GIS maps and housing cost info as available.• Researched Good Neighbor Agreements implemented around the country as a basis for mitigating tensions in communities where homeless service providers operate. Presented my findings to local leadership including the Chief of Police and Olympia’s Housing Program Manager.
