R.İlayda TAN KESGİN is an Assistant Professor of  Civil engineering who is teaching and conducting research in the field of  Hydraulics, with the focus on coastal and harbour engineering at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degrees both Civil engineering and Environmental engineering (Double Major)  from the Yıldız Technical University, İstanbul, at the same year of  2011. She received her Master at the same university from civil engineering department on Hydraulics division. She completed her PhD. on February 2019. Her research interests encompass: a) Seabed-Flow-Structure Interaction, b) Scour/Erosion Around Hydraulic/Marine Structures, c) Sediment Transport , d) Coastal, Marine and Hydraulic Structures.
