Music Trends Events (MTE) is already for 30 years pioneering in the creative industry, with a specific expertise on event marketing, experience marketing and purpose driven campaigns and concerts. What's MTE doing exactly? => It's the legal entity behind the social-cultural initiative Herberg het Mandelahuisje in Amsterdam (Mandelahuisje.nl); => Many successful events, concerts and campaigns were (co-) developed, like the Racism Beat It Festival, Kunstbende and also the yearly classical National Liberation concert in the Amstel, with live broadcasting on the 5th of May. Personal fav amongst all events done by MTE: the Champions Party for Ajax (May 1996, celebrating the Dutch, Super and World Cup;=> For cities as The Hague, Haarlem, Zwolle and Rotterdam huge cultural (music, theatre, fashion) programs were designed; => In collaboration with marketing agencies (like BBDO or Fresh Forward) brands get empowered; => Some existing projects were restructured/rejuvenated, like Kwakoe (500.000 visitors yearly) and the Rotterdam World Harbour Days (500.000 visitors yearly);=> Director Ilco van der Linde is also a consultant or sometimes interim director for social campaigns/projects. MasterPeace aims to mobilize 200,000 new peace-builders ('Nelsons') by 2020, working in 200 MasterPeace clubs in 200 communities in around 100 countries. In each community MasterPeace uses music, theater, arts, sports, media, advocacy on the SDG's and dialogue to prevent new armed conflict. Each year on the UN International Day of Peace (September 21) MasterPeace organizes peace concerts allover the world to involve local top artists and reach out to the media and recruit new peace-builders, in order to make the movement grow further. On his 16th Ilco started to develop Bevrijdingspop; a yearly human rights festival on the 5th of May (Liberation Day). 15 years later Bevrijdingspop was and still is one of the biggest festivals in the Netherlands with +/- 150.000 visitors. (see www.bevrijdingspop.nl). All these years Ilco worked voluntary and still 95% of Bevrijdingspop (5 May 2010 it existed 30 years!!) is produced by volunteers.

Nine years after starting up the BEVRIJDINGSPOP festival in Haarlem Ilco was asked by the 'Nationaal Comité 4 en 5 mei' to develop and manage Bevrijdingsfestivals all over the Netherlands. There are now 14 Bevrijdingsfestivals with around 1 million visitors yearly, making it the biggest yearly thematic youth project in Europe.
