I hold a Bachelor degree in Graphic design from the Danish School of Media and Journalism. From this education I have gained extensive knowledge of creating a corporate identity - from the stage of research and analysis with the target group in mind to the execution of the entire coherent brand identity with a graphic expression that supports the brand. Further more I have gained comprehensive knowledge in typography and the visual expression of any kind of text. An internship at the digital font foundry Dalton Maag in London has developed this knowledge to an sublime expertise! Through this internship and the daily coaching from Ron Carpenter and my other colleagues, I gained understanding for and skills in developing the right font. When a brand has the right font, it communicates with consistency, clarity, character and originality. Seeing the smallest errors in a shape and developing consistent characters is a competence I have come to use in all my work. To me the work itself is only as strong as it's perfection - no matter the size of detail.My primary interests are within corporate identities, logo design, font design, lettering, typography, editorial design. I work hard to gain the optimal and original solution for a client - to me nothing less is acceptable.
