I joined Unashamedly Ethical as a consultant in 2024 to provide in house general counsel services. In my role I advise and execute the Legal, Compliance, Governance, HR and Advocacy portfolio.

I regularly facilitate shop steward workshops, employment equity workshops , managing poor work performance & incapacity, initiating and chairing discipline and dismissals, and basic practical labour law workshops. Speaker at certain marketing functions and public workshops. Qualified as facilitator.

As legal advisor and researcher for Solidarity Trade Union, I managed Labour dispute resolution and representation of Solidarity and / or any of its members particularly in Labour Court as well as CCMA and Bargaining Forum matters. In 2007, I acted as head of research and spokesperson for Solidarity on international labour standards and fundamental principles and rights at work. I started the first gender committee at Solidarity and served as chairperson of the Gender committee at federation level.
