As much as l can immerse myself in my independent work, nothing gives me more fulfillment than seeing my individual efforts support the goals and functions of my team and broader work community.My several years of experience as a legal operations professional and executive assistant have not only provided me with extensive practical knowledge - data analysis and implementing and administering Saas products and systems, to name a few - they have also developed my organizational and communication skills that allow me to bring coherence to entire teams and projects. If you can organize the working life of busy executives and be involved in all the functions of their departments in addition to working on your own projects, you can figure out almost anything! The certain adaptability and creative problem-solving I bring to my work teams have also been paramount for my leadership in various community arts and activism projects that are done out of love for supporting creativity, knowledge-sharing and social change. On the surface there may appear to be no connection between supporting a law department and spending time on grassroots projects, but both draw on transferable soft skills, require accountability for your own piece of the puzzle and reward you for a fair amount of unglamorous behind-the-scenes work with a beautiful outcome and sense of accomplishment. No matter the industry, all are necessary for good ideas to come to fruition and for us to do our best work in a healthy collaboration!--When I am not busy working, I enjoy going on bike rides, playing games on Oculus, making my way through my reading wishlist and binging on the latest sci-fi and drama TV shows.
