Hi! My name is Billie, I'm 25 years old, and have a bachelor's degree in broadcasting and mass communication with a minor in audio design. I have five years of college experience in academic researching and writing, and have been producing music since 2019. In my time at SUNY Oswego, I've taken a myriad of courses, covering the foundations of communication, broadcast media, journalism, sound design and video production, and I regularly apply everything I've learned in all of my creative efforts. I've also worked as an associate for Dollar General, which entails operating the cash register, cleaning, stocking, arranging shelves and helping customers whenever needed-- often all at the same time. As a rural location, staff was limited, so there were often no more than two or three people working at a time. All associates were always expected to be actively working and fulfilling all of the aforementioned tasks, with little help or time to breathe. I learned to go with the flow, do everything to the best of my abilities, and to reach out for assistance with any questions I couldn't answer or specific tasks I was unsure how to start.I've been looking for work more recently and am excited to put my creativity to use. Producing music for personal or professional projects, writing creative pieces, and editing texts are all positions I find myself particularly prepared for, and I'm willing to learn anything I need for anything else.
