    Self-Employed Aug 2015 - Present
I am a private landlord, i.e., I have been leasing my first flat in Espoo since August 2015 and my second flat in Jyväskylä since November 2023. I have had long-term tenants in my flats. I am a member of Finnish Landlord Association. I have made all flat advertisements and tenancy agreements by myself. In December 2022, I had my Espoo flat renovated. I requested bids from several renovation companies, chose the best company, made the renovation contract and looked after that I get what I had ordered.

I worked in the research group of academy professor Jukka Pekola and my instructor was M.Sc. Anna Feshchenko.I fabricated 5 - 20 nm thick chromium (Cr) resistors in the cleanroom of Micronova Nanofabrication Centre to measure heat transport in nanostructures. I studied the resistances of chromium resistors with respect to their thicknesses. My job included hands-on work with resist spinning, electron beam lithography, electron beam evaporation of metals, optical and scanning electron microscopy, wire bonding as well as electrical measurements with a probe station.
  • Aalto University
    Master'S Thesis Worker
    Aalto University Jul 2014 - Feb 2015
    Espoo, Finland
I worked in the research group of academy professor Jukka Pekola and my instructor was Dr. Olli-Pentti Saira.I did my Master's thesis about a lumped element Josephson parametric amplifier (JPA) which operates at frequencies below 1 GHz. My thesis presents the structure of the JPA in detail and reports its experimental characterization (reflection coefficient, gain, bandwidth and noise temperature) at 100 mK temperature. In addition, I performed non-linear circuit simulations using APLAC software which reproduces well the main features of the experimental characterization.

I worked in the research group of professor Jukka Pekola and my instructor was M.Sc. Simone Gasparinetti. I developed a radio frequency (RF) setup for thermometry based on a normal metal - insulator - superconductor (NIS) tunnel junction. I measured the scattering parameters of one cryogenic circulator and the gain and the noise temperature of two cryogenic amplifiers. Measurements were performed at room temperature, 77 K and 10 K at microwave frequencies between 0.5 GHz and 2.5 GHz. I wrote my second special assignment of 10 ECTS points about this summer job topic.

I worked in the fusion research group of professor Mathias Groth and my supervisor was Dr. Markus Airila from VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.I simulated migration and mixing of beryllium, tungsten and carbon on plasma-facing surfaces in JET and ITER fusion reactors using a sophisticated computer code called ERO. I compared the new surface model of ERO to its older surface model. I used MATLAB for analysis and plotting of results. I wrote my first special assignment of 10 ECTS points about this summer job topic.
