Responsible for providing commercially focused tax advisory and compliance services to over 20 clients including multinationals, group of companies, and partnerships.- Reporting to the Director (Tax), I am assigned with the devising tax-efficient strategies for multinational and domestic based clients in diverse business situations, including mergers, takeovers and corporate reconstruction.- Assisting clients in preparation of income tax filings for corporate and partnership entities, including indirect tax returns and schedules; responsible for performing necessary tax research for both compliance and planning activities.- Preparing/ reviewing of income tax estimates, quarterly payments, and tax provisions. - Liaising with the Department of Inland Revenue and providing support for planning local tax audits.- Interacting with accounting and other finance personnel with regard to client compliance issues.- Performing tax health checks and communicates the tax implications, risks, and recommendation to senior management.- Aligning with the KPMG Global Risk Management policies and work with other Regions to leverage KPMG as a brand.

- Responsible for managing a team of 5 members and ensuring the monthly financial tasks are completed within the deadlines and assigned targets are achieved. - Approving journals uploaded and Reviewing Balance Sheet reconciliations.- Performing variances analysis on the debtor and creditor movements. - Providing governance reports to offshore and onshore senior management and timely responding on the queries.- Ensuring the flow of effective communication, within the WNS hierarchy and onshore.

- Performing audit procedure to gather audit evidence to draw an audit opinion on financial statement on various corporate clients (Corporate clients include the companies, partnerships, and sole proprietorships)- Preparing and reviewing of financial statements, internal auditors’ reports to ensure the internal controls are in place, and ensuring the adherence with relevant accounting standards and legislations.- Providing other professional services such as book keeping, and Tax (Income Tax, VAT, NBT and PAYE) services for SMEs.
