About Iván Lombardero Hernández

After finishing my Ph.D. in photovoltaic solar energy, obtaining the highest qualification (Summa Cum Laude), I decided to move to a position closer to the market needs. During the development of the thesis, I got a solid knowledge about the behavior and underlying physics of solar cells, as well as their fabrication processes and characterization techniques. Moreover, I got to patent a manufacturing process, learning the valuable knowledge behind the patenting process and its nuances. I also had the opportunity to lead two Iberdrola projects, being two extraordinarily enriching experiences to learn about project and H&R management. Therefore, my main focus was to apply all the knowledge and experience I had to the real world and actually deliver value to the society. That was why I started a new position as a PV consultant at QPV. Here, I have had the opportunity to learn about the development and the evaluation process for large scale PV projects. Furthermore, I am in close contact with the market needs, letting me understand what is actually required by our clients to provide them with the right solution. At the moment, my main concern is to keep learning and developing new skills to become a trustworthy leader in the future.
