Supervising bachelor students in (practical) courses.My role as student-assistant is to:- Motivate the students and test their knowledge, as well as provide a safe environment.- Moderate team discussions where students are evaluated on their theoretical knowledge of the experiments and on their ability to hold a discussion with their peers.- Provide feedback and grade the final reports.

As student mentor I am the first point of contact for first-year master students. I listen to any concerns the students may experience and try to help them within my ability. I am glad to be able to guide students to find their way during their research project and to built their confidence to become independent scientists.

This literature review investigates the link between aging, microbiome, and neuroinflammation, which are implicated in neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. The study is being conducted in the Biotherapeutics department of LACDR under the supervision of Linda Holtman.

This internship is at the Drug Discovery and Safety department of the LACDR in the cancer therapeutics group of Bob van de Water. The goal of my project is to discover the effect of spliceosome inhibitors on proliferation and migration in Triple Negative Breast Cancer cell lines.
