This ability to listen, understand, and find the right solutions became a cornerstone of my career.When I transitioned to a role in analytics at Cisco, I learned that the first step in solving any problem is to clearly define what we are trying to understand. I also acted as a translator between business leaders and data engineers/scientists, ensuring that business objectives were clearly communicated and translated into actionable data strategies. This alignment helped us operationalize processes and scale solutions that created measurable impact.My role on Cisco’s DEI team in HR allowed me to apply my strategic and operational skills to a new function. I worked alongside top DEI professionals and came to understand that DEI is a shared responsibility, not something owned solely by a department. It’s something that every individual within an organization must contribute to in order to create a more inclusive, equitable world.Throughout my career, I’ve always been passionate about simplifying complex ideas and helping others understand and act on them.
