I ended up working with online marketing by a bit of an accident, but that has been the best accident ever to happen to me. I found out quite fast that this is something that I actually care about. I am no different than many consumers in the sense that advertising can be and often is annoying, bad and some what necessary evil. However, I also believe that it is necessary, but doesn't need to be evil. I believe advertising should be a service to the users and especially customers. In retail media context, the advertising is equivalent to a customer service person who can suggest you products and help make your shopping experience as good as it can be. My goal is to make better advertising that servers the customer, the advertiser and the store. Three times win!As a Development Manager at SOK, I work to improve the technical capabilities of SOK Smart Marketing advertising products and the SOK retial media ad network. I work as a product owner in online development projects, like system integrations and ad network development. I also help further develop the processes of selling and operating our online campaigns.
