Industrial Training Mini Project- Designing a biodiesel plant from sugarcane bagasse to enhance the productivity and usefulness of every source that could be utilized to produce new sources of energy.Project name : Biofuel Plant DesignTeam size : 3Duration : 5 monthsDescription :- Studies the pretreatment of the biomass (bagasse)- Hydrolysis of the treated bagasse with an enzymes to form ethanol.- Various enzymes tested during the hydrolysis process to identify which could produce pureethanol in a large scale production at lowest cost.- Selection of the process route and drafting the process flowsheet by calculating the material,mass and heat balance.- Submit detailed equipment specifications- Instrumentation flowsheet with detailed reactor design.
