Ilya is a senior level communication professional with 25 years of experience in public relations gained in the UK and internationally. Working with a wide variety of public and private sector organisations, she is adept at identifying and implementing communication solutions. Key skills include: communication strategy development and implementation, media relations, corporate communication, crisis and issues management and internal communication.Having worked in London, Melbourne and Hong Kong, Ilya returned to her native Scotland to take up a senior position within a Scottish PR agency before establishing her own agency, Real PR in 2000Having worked in large PR agencies for many years, Ilya recognised that clients became frustrated when offered senior level expertise at pitch, which quickly evaporated when the business was won, leaving the client with enthusiastic but inexperienced support staff. She decided to establish a PR agency which delivered the promises, and the people, that the client heard at pitch. Fourteen years later, Real PR remains true to its founding ethos by delivering senior level expertise on all accounts, at all times.
