👋🏽 Hi, I'm Ilyaas. 🎓 I have an LLB (2016) and BA in English Language and Literature (2014) from the University of Cape Town.🌇 Johannesburg native, with a passion for technology in law and implementing strategies that will provide the best legal support for your business.📚 I currently run a legal tech start-up focused on providing quality legal support to start-ups and SMEs through affordable monthly subscriptions. I also work as a senior attorney running a growing commercial practice helping clients in corporate transactions and litigious work. Prior to this, I was an associate at Webber Wentzel, having represented clients across various industries such as Mining, FMCG, Fintech, Media, Telecommunications, Hospitality and Local Government. I've been involved in corporate deals exceeding R500 million in deal value as well as instituting and defending litigious matters in civil and labour courts.
