I designed and developed an internal data mining service based on Java and PostgreSQL as primary storage for a significant amount of data. In addition a special web interface, based on SpringMVC, Hibernate and JSP/JSTL) was created for an additional human support where moderator could browse users' behaviors in a convenient way and perform supplemental actions.Developed an internal REST API service based on SpringMVC to improve the integration between end-user services.Integrated code for users' behavior analysis into the concurrent environment of existed backend game service that had been written in Java. That integration didn't cause any speed degradation or bad affections on the user experience. Suggested a few improvements in the backend game service to decrease thread contention. Developed value-added services for different mobile network operators and projects for an internal use. Those services were based on Java and .NET platforms and used MSSQL, MySQL and PostgreSQL as RDBMS's.My key responsibility was to develop and maintain a web portal to allow subscribers of Tele2 (4th russian mobile operator) to benefit from all features of RBT (Ring Back Tone) services through web. These services were created using programming language Java, PostgreSQL as a database storage, JQuery was used in the user interface. All of those services were using SOAP protocol for exchanging information with services placed at mobile operator site. As a part of service improvement there were created a bunch of internal services with the following key technologies:Java and .Net (using C#)PostgreSQL and OracleTomcat, WebSphere AS CE (Apache Geronimo), NginxI was responsible for managing dedicated team which developed primarily web and wap portals. Developed core system for the anti-chief solution, which included work with calls history and messaging.Enhanced an open source email server written in Java as the application in JBoss in order to make it fit to company’s requirements. Implemented embedded firmware in AVR Assembler for Atmel 8bit microcontrollers. Firmware facilitated gathering data from the batch of temperature sensors and managed an embedded system which controls connected air conditioners.Participated in the improving of software written in C++ that was used for sending commands to the connected microcontrollers and inquiring temperature information.
