Originally from a small village in Siberia during the Soviet era, I moved to England two decades ago to study, with just basic English skills. Through self-teaching, English has become second nature to me, to the point where I even think in it now! I spent some time living in the serene beauty of the Lake District before settling in sunny Manchester for my studies. My passion lies in multimedia art, particularly sculpting. Glastonbury holds a special place in my heart; I absolutely love it! Excited about our future, I see positive changes unfolding in myself, our life, and the people around me. Despite the devastating loss of my dad 11 years ago and my mum last year. Their spirit lives on in me and my boys every day. Overcoming my fear of public speaking in English was a major milestone for me, and Toastmasters played a pivotal role in that journey. I've delivered seven speeches in front of audiences of over 30 people and completed two levels of the Leadership Development Path. Now, I feel more confident.
