Main Duties in the company were: - Preparing the site and liaising with other construction professionals such as architects, engineers, buyers, estimators and surveyors before construction work start. - Developing the programme of work and strategy for making the project happen. - Ensuring that construction activities move according to predetermined schedule. - Planning ahead to provent problems on site before they occur, for example, planning the delivery and storage of equipment and materials. - Using construction management software packages to plan smooth work flows. - Communicating with a range of people including the client, subcontractors, suppliers, the public and the workforce.

Oztas Construction, is the pioneer and well-established company of Öztaş Group which proudly serves in the sector for 31 years. Main duties were:- Reviewing and studying project scope of works, clients' requirement, BOQ, project milestones and specification from the supplied bid documents.- Preparing method statements for execution of BOQ items.- Preparing site visit report after exploring site conditions surroundings.- Collecting information about market prices for suppliers and subcontractors and equipments based upon previous executed projects and recent available information, trying to get the best committed prices from suitable sources.- Maintaining contact with the Customer during all tendering proces for clarification, negotiation and contract signing.- Preparing technical offers.

Worked as a site engineer at the construction of a Natural Gas Compressor Station which has 45.9 MW power located on the Samsun-Ankara Natural Gas Pipeline. Main duties were:- Being responsible for applications of all civil works at site.- Estimating, preparing and assigning the resources such as manpower, materials etc., required for all civil works before the execution. - Planning and analysing all possible construction methods and recommending the best options to the Assistant Project Manager for approval prior to execution at site. - Interpreting construction drawings and studying the contract documents and applicable standards or specifications prior to execution of any jobs.- Planning the execution of all civil related works and coordinating the works to electrical and mechanical groups.- Coordinating with Client or Consultant’s representatives for any site instructions and inspection of works.- Supporting the Asst. Project Manager in accomplishing all the goals and targets for the civil groups at site.- Ensuring that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national or international standards.- Performing other related duties as may be required by the Asst. Project Manager.

The project covers Public Road at BY standard including Superstructures, Superstructure, Bridge, Various and Secondary Works. As an intern my main duty was to help the site civil engineers.

Ulus-Keçiören subway project involved boring of tunnels with, excavations of stations, cut and cover and conventional systems of tunnels. As an intern, I was doing the site engineer jobs.
