Working for one of South Africa’s leading organisations in systems integration, managing a team of six Project Administrators and overseeing project administration for four divisionsEnsuring that projects are run in accordance with the Organisation’s requirementsProviding guidance to project teams, monitoring staff performance and performing quality reviewsPlanning and scheduling resources for a group of projects and monitoring their utilisationControlling and administering budgets for all projectsEstablishing and updating the project documentation libraryProject Management:Planning and forecasting the financial budget required for the project, identifying possible risks and uncertaintiesMeeting regularly with team members to monitor progress of the project and receive updates and suggestions from team membersSupervising the team, providing a supportive work environment to make team members feel valued, increasing efficiency and ensuring that targets are met and guidelines observed Initiating the project and working on it from conception to completionMaintaining contact with clients and senior officials to report updates and progress

Managing budgets and expenditure, ensuring contractors and creditors are paid appropriatelyArranging and coordinating meetings, taking minutes, tracking projects and updating the project calendarOrganizing venues and arranging functionsResolving issues related to the project and ensuring all compliance regulations are adhered toPlacing orders with suppliers, handling goods received and dispatched and processing supplier invoices for paymentProcessing and following up debtor invoicesProducing monthly reports and forecasts on all projectsArranging travel and accommodation, both local and international, for clients and staffHandling petty cash and processing staff claims for paymentPerforming general administrative duties such as printing, filing, scanning documents as necessary
