It was great working with this company for 8 months as an internship student and we worked on one of the most beneficial techniques in the construction of slabs which is post-tension slabs. I gained a lot of experience in the field of work as I learned many details and skills in the construction phases. Moreover, I ended the last 3 months of my internship in the design department in the company to gain more experience in design phases using ADAPT and other programs such as SAFE, ETABS, and more. It was a very successful experience for me ending as a post-tension expert among fresh graduates. Being a site engineer has allowed me to be a part of the site management team, take some of the responsibility for security, health, safety, and organize and supervise materials and workers. In addition to marking out the site, making sure designs are applied correctly, and liaising with main and sub-contractors and the site manager.
