Leading the secondary school offering the 2 IB programs; MYP and DP. The role will involve setting the vision and objectives for the academic year and supporting and developing new initiatives in the field of education and modern learning. This role will also involve the day to day operations of the secondary school.

Planning and mapping the MYP science curriculum ensuring a continuum from year 1 to year 5.Planning and delivery of MYP year 4 and 5 biology aligned with the e-assessment model.Planning and delivery of the diploma biology and chemistry program

Some major areas of the responsibility include:•Ensuring that all the guidelines, requirements and conditions of the IBO regulations are fulfilled.•Ensure that all faculty members have access to the required resources, documentation and publications from the IBO.•Analysis and follow-up of overall IB examination results in addition to following up on individual departmental concerns.•Set a clear internal calendar of deadlines in order to spread the student and staff workload over the two years and guarantee the completion of all IB requirements.•Ensure that all deadlines are met for Internal and External Assessment, student registration through IBIS, CAS, Extended Essay, ATL and TOK.•Coordinate with the Counselor/Careers Advisor to provide information and guidance about further studies, careers and scholarship opportunities, making sure that students obtain the appropriate references and that transcripts are forwarded to universities.•Enforce DP policies for Assessment, Academic Honesty, Language, and Special Educational Needs.•Design DP schedule in coordination with the director.•Oversee school IB budget for student fees, training, technology and supplies
