I'm Imad Serhal, a motivated engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Control Systems Engineering. I’ve had the opportunity to dive deep into control systems and industrial automation, which aligns with my passion for enhancing efficiency and optimizing systems. My master’s thesis focused on controlling electrically excited synchronous motors (EESMs) for heavy trucks, where I explored advanced topics like MTPA, MTPV, and flux weakening, and applied Extremum Seeking control to reduce losses. Along the way, I’ve developed a strong foundation in electric drives, digital control, machine learning, computer vision, and motion control through coursework, which expanded my technical skill set.My background also includes designing and analyzing mechanical systems, and I’m always eager to learn and grow. I thrive in environments where I can use my knowledge to make tangible improvements, and I’m dedicated to continuing to build my skills and contribute to impactful projects.
