I am enjoying the work that I do even now that I am promoted as an intermediate accountant, which means I will get to handle more complex tasks. I got to explore more online software. I was able to set up our XERO practice account and clients ledger account from scratch to what we currently use as a database now. I setup all the templates for reporting, invoicing, email, letter and workflow for both XERO blue and green. I am able to share my knowledge and skills with the new members of our team in PH and in AU. This is where the TAX and ACCOUNTING mean every bit to me. I was able to realize how my job matters to my clients - the end users of my work. The feeling of FULFILLMENT of finishing every client account has now become my daily dose of excitement which makes me yearn for MORE!!! I am officially a regular accountant after passing the shortened probationary period of 3 mos. Due to COVID-19 we transition to remote setup.I am still working on my current junior accounting analyst task plus more accounting jobs. I am introduced to posting ledger entries to MYOB for non-individual accounts and doing more complex individual tax returns with capital gains, rental and business schedules. I am able to explore more sections of the tax returns with various clients having both TFN and ABN income. Also started to do non-individual accounts. It's starting to get fun!

I was absorbed as a probationary accountant after proving my work ethics and skills in the sales department. I now support the backend office and do accounting & admin tasks. I prepare the individual tax returns, liaise with clients after sales and discuss via email/phone regarding their tax issues. I also liaise with the ATO to address client concerns. Since we process both tax and super refunds we also get to engage with super funds and call them up. I also prepare the trust bank reconciliation and payment schedules for the refund processing.

I was hired as a part-time sales account executive temporarily while the accountant position was not available. I dealt with global clients' on their individual tax returns for locals and visa holders in Australia.I contact clients via email/phone to discuss their tax applications from the website.

I work for the sales department for the first 6 months and transition to the admin department after. I mainly contact global clients about their tax refund and super refund (DASP) while working in Australia. I liase with clients, ATO and super funds. I first dealt with sales then after-sales and admin and then accounting. I prepare the individual tax return of Aussies and visa holders in Australia.
