As a personal image consultant and stylist, I work with well-known people and on-air personalities on a regular basis. Of course my makeup artistry and attention to detail regarding their appearance make them look great. But beyond that, one of the reasons I have so many repeat customers is because people trust me. They know I won’t talk about what should be held in confidence. Confidentiality and trust matter to me a great deal. I am told that my good conversational and listening skills are as essential to helping a nervous celebrity or guest feel prepared for an interview as is my makeup artistry. Beyond the lights|camera|action world, many other high-level professionals know that the way they look affects the way others react to them. For these private clients, it is my passion to identify with them a signature look and wardrobe elements to bring out their best. I never take a cookie-cutter approach to wardrobe selection and I don’t equate “most expensive” with “best.” I believe that clothes, like people, should not be boring and that getting dressed every morning should bring a sense of delight.
