Founded in response to the resourcing gap for young, first-time founders on the continent, we are supporting the next generation of emerging game-changers. This-Ability works to advance the rights of women and girls with disabilities in Kenya. As Legal Research and Advocacy Coordinator, I find the nexus between law and socio-cultural context and shape program design to: Build the capacity of women and girls with disabilities; Change the normative conversations around gender and disability and; Effectively change the lived realities of women and girls with disabilities through policy advocacy.
