Imam Nur Azis is the president of Indonesian Nazhir Association (ANI), Chevening scholar (2000-2001) one of the leading initiators of Indonesia Waqf Blockchain project (BWI) or Badan Wakaf Indonesia. He was an AFS exchange student in Australia (1989-1990), Founder of Wakafpreneur Institute and ASEAN Mall Waqf Advisor in Thailand. He manages as Certified Waqf Specialist and as Assesor of Competency at BNSP. He was a commissioner of Indonesia Waqf Board from Year 2017 to 2021 and a co-founder of Alwyni International Capital (AIC). He received Chevening Scholarship and graduated from M.A programme on International Political Economy of Leeds University, UK. He is one of the contributors/ writers "Contemporary Approach in Productive Awqaf Development" in a book published by Routledge Taylor & Francis Group, " Awqaf-led Islamic Social Finance: Innovative Solutions to Modern Applicantions". (2020).His writing on " Waqf Development in Indonesia " also published in GIFR ( Global Islamic Finance Report) Cambridge IFA, 2019.
