With two decades of extensive international experience as a proficient Technical Trainer, Tutor, Facilitator, and Technical Author, my primary aim has always been to facilitate effective and professional learning for individuals and corporates.Commencing my career as an architect, I immersed myself in learning design and rendering applications like AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop. Over time, I progressed, eventually taking on the role of training junior architects. This phase not only allowed me to enhance my understanding of architecture but also ignited my passion for teaching.In 2003, I transitioned into the role of a trainer, initially focusing on delivering training for AutoCAD and Photoshop. The diverse applications I dealt with led me into various domains, leaving the choice of further exploration entirely up to me. Fuelled by my passion, I leveraged my expertise in these applications to venture into the realm of creativity, particularly Graphic design.To elevate my graphic design skills, mastering tools like Illustrator and InDesign was essential. Additionally, delving into animation through After Effects broadened my horizons. My fervour for teaching and creativity continued to drive me towards learning more applications, especially in the domain of modelling—ranging from architectural and product modelling to mechanical modelling. Consequently, I acquired proficiency in software like Inventor and Fusion 360.Teaching and creativity were the cornerstones that continually expanded the branches of my professional growth. I thoroughly enjoyed designing courses, crafting unique lesson plans, and creating engaging eLearning materials. This journey naturally led me towards Learning and Development.Further, I pursued a study on Design Thinking and creativity for innovation with Queensland University, a captivating experience that added depth to my passion for analysis, innovation, and problem-solving, aligning perfectly with my aspirations to be a product designer.While many emphasize the benefits of specializing in a single field for success, my passion lies at the intersection of teaching and creativity.
