Projects Queensland is a unit within Queensland Treasury and Trade established to enhance the Queensland Government's infrastructure delivery capability.My role at PQ is to provide financial risk management, commercial and project management advisory services during the preliminary analysis, business case development and procurement stages of a major State projects both within PQ and those managed by external government agencies. The role included assisting in project assessment, tendering and contract negotiations, and other advisory and review services.

I was the Corporate Development Executive within the M&A team, reporting to the Executive Director of M&A. My role within the M&A team was to be lead business analyst and project manager for the entire M&A transactional lifecycle. I was an integral part of the M&A team that oversaw acquisitions totalling A$80m. This included liaising with the Due Diligence team, negotiating both the term sheet and final contract and the selection and engagement of external resources, including scope of work and fee negotiations.I was also an integral part of the internal team, working closely with Wilson HTM, which managed the successful IPO of Runge back in 2009.ACHIEVEMENTS► ✔ Oversaw acquisitions totalling A$80m and managed the entire acquisition process (from negotiation to completion) of Resource Evaluations (ResEval) and GeoGAS.

I was the product manager of “Shared web hosting” suite of products and then the Senior Product Manager for Software as a Service (SaaS) suite of products. This included:☑ Managing the planning, development, promotion, advertising, market share and profitability of a $20M suite of Shared Web hosting services☑ Successfully growing the SaaS portfolio revenue at WebCentral by over 140% within 12 months.☑ Gathered analysis of product specifications and enhancements, customer feedback, and market testing for the development of next generation product.☑ Provided training, education and support to sales team and distribution channels.ACHIEVEMENTS✔ Reached revenue targets for 5 consecutive quarters, with revenue growth of 10% per quarter.✔ Over a 12-month period grew the SaaS portfolio revenue at WebCentral by over 140%.✔ Introduced both QuickBooks Online and SugarCRM products into the market, a first within the Australian market.
