I'd say my passion is making a positive impact on people's lives - no matter how big or small that may be. Whether it's making someone laugh when they're down, lending an ear and giving advice to a friend, complimenting a stranger, giving to those less fortunate, helping a teammate accomplish a task; if it involves helping a fellow human, I'm all for it. So naturally, one might assume my dream career would be something in the medical field or a firefighter/police officer. However, given the fact that I'm not necessarily keen to bodily fluids and functions, customer service oriented roles are my next best choice.In my years of serving customers, specifically in the retail industry, I have helped hundreds if not thousands of customers find the perfect gift for loved ones, their favorite new accessories, the best outfit for a special occasion, or even their new favorite ice cream flavor. I have grown to realize the importance of all the interactions we have throughout a day and how a positive interaction has the power to potentially turn someone's entire day around, and I strive to be that person. My service approach has given me many positive Yelp reviews, surveys, and a loyal clientele when I worked at Nordstrom.I am hoping to use my International Business degree to travel and use my knowledge to better navigate our increasingly globalized world.
